Is my data secure?
Yes. All data is stored exclusively in Sydney, Australia, via Amazon Web Services data centres. Our AI operates within our own database environment, which means your data is never transmitted to overseas AI providers such as OpenAI or Anthropic.
I am a paraplanner — will this replace me?
Not at all. AdviceDocs replaces only the document generation and formatting stage of the advice cycle — historically one of the most time-consuming aspects of a paraplanner’s role. The research, strategy development, and product expertise that paraplanners bring remain in high demand and are essential for AdviceDocs to function effectively.
I am an external paraplanner — can I log in to multiple businesses?
Yes. As an external paraplanner, you may log in to multiple business organisations, subject to each organisation’s approval.
I am a licensee — can I grant my CARs access while I retain control of the templates?
Yes, and this is one of AdviceDocs’ core features. Your Corporate Authorised Representatives (CARs) can log in to your organisation, which makes auditing their advice documents straightforward.
Can I customise my templates?
Yes. Anything you can do in Microsoft Word, you can do within an AdviceDocs template. We provide comprehensive Statement of Advice and Record of Advice templates as a starting point, which you are free to download and tailor. We also maintain a detailed ‘Docs’ page that explains how to build your own templates from scratch — the process is straightforward.
Can I arrange an onboarding call to learn how to use AdviceDocs?

How can I get training on how to use AdviceDocs?
AdviceDocs offers one-on-one training sessions to get you fully upskilled on how to use the platform. That said, AdviceDocs is designed to be highly intuitive, so most people are able to jump straight in and figure it out for themselves.
